😗 'WHO ARE YOU?' 🤗

🤦🏻‍♀️😢 "I was once a people person...until people ruined it for me!" - 'Pinterest' (thank you)! 🤣 You can literally kill yourself - attempting to please other people! 😩 And, please, believe me, whenever I write that, I know ALL about this!! 😔 In this "STRANGE" season of my life, in which I presently find myself, I am very determined to ONLY do the things in which I KNOW - PLEASE GOD (the things that I know HE expects of me), according to HIS perfect will for my life, period! 🙏🏼 Anymore, unless, I absolutely KNOW that, GOD expects me to do a certain thing, I'm most likely NOT going to do it, no matter WHO thinks, expects, insinuates, says that I should, or, "whatevuh! 😙 Some people do not understand why I am at this point - BECAUSE - they have not "walked a mile in my shoes!!" 👣👠👠😘😏 I can honestly write that, I have no desire to, manipulate and/or control, other people!  I DO wish that, I were better at controlling myself!! 🤣 Actually, accomplishing this (not being a "people pleaser"), sometimes - is VERY DIFFICULT - with me being (believe it - or - not) a natural born "PEOPLE PLEASER!" 😐 One variable which makes this even tougher for me to enforce, is that, The Lord, "comically," keeps putting "controlling" people in my circle of life!  Some people would be HAPPY to use a "remote control" to control ME - 24/7, I do believe, especially, considering the fact that, God has called me to be a 'preacher's wife' (GOD revealed that HE had called David to preach - a few years AFTER our marriage)! Therefore, some people "seem" to think that, it is one of their duties to God, to make sure that, I am DOING what they think GOD wants me to do! 😩😳 I am glad to please people, and, be a blessing to them, whenever, it is in God's perfect will for me to do so, but, not whenever, a manipulator is attempting to control me, which is extremely selfish of him/her, and/or, it can even get to the point of being evil - at times!  The Bible compares manipulation (of people) to witchcraft (2 Chronicles 33:6, Galatians 5:1, 13, 19-26, Isaiah 47:2)! 😧 In a way, I don't understand why someone desires to control somebody else, probably because, it is such a HUGE PET PEEVE of mine, and people, manipulating and controlling, and/or, just trying to do so - to me, has brought me a tremendous amount of frustration, hurt, pain, aggravation, anger, etc.!  Do you know of anyone who actually LIKES to ever be controlled by another person, or even likes whenever, someone else is TRYING to manipulate them?!  I think NOT!  I know of nobody who does!  And, yes, I realize that I've written about this in a previous post, but, as I've also already written, this is a HUGE PET PEEVE of mine, and, it is a common problem! 😗 The old "people pleas'n me," pulls me - one way, while, the "trying to overcome being a people pleaser me," who desires to please people, and, get approval from them, pulls me - the opposite way (talk about tension inside a brain - 🤣😜)!! 🤓 I have learned that, if, I do something that I really don't want to do, and/or, don't know that it is absolutely God's will for me to do, then, I am filled with resentment about it, and this is very unhealthy for my entire being (spirit, soul, and body), and then, that resentment "spills" over, upon the people with whom I am in contact, which, does not glorify God! 😎 It is really messed up whenever a, controller and/or manipulator, gets upset with someone, who simply won't let the manipulator control him/her! 😏 Oftentimes, these controlling people don't realize that they have a "control isuue/problem!"  It is most likely a quality that they have developed through the years, for whatever the various, personal, contributors!  And, sometimes it is an innate character quality. At any rate, I do not like controlling behavior in a person, although, I may like him/her, otherwise! 😏 There is a big difference in, desiring to please God, being a blessing to people in HIS name (which I truly desire to do), etc., and, in being a people pleaser! 😉 If you are a people pleaser by choice, that is your prerogative, GO AT IT, but please, if you're a Believer, do it in Jesus' name, and, for HIS honor and glory, and not, to make yourself "look GOOD!" 😏 And if, upon honest examination of yourself, you perceive yourself as being a, manipulator and/or a controller, then please, for the Lord's namesake, yours, and everyone else's sake - whom you affect, LET God help you to quit being one! 😌🙏🏼 If, you have been hurt by a controlling person, then, LET Jesus heal you of that hurt, teach you all HE desires to teach you from experiencing it, then, LET HIM use it in you, and through you to -  teach and minister - that lesson (or any other lessons, or truths etc., you've learned throughout your life) to others! 😌🙏🏼💞 Manipulators (BULLIES) often don't realize the pain, damage, etc. in which they inflict upon the people they bully!!  Oftentimes they have become "bullies," as a result of being bullied themselves, or, because of insecurities of various sorts!  I think that, at some point in a controller's life, possibly, everything "seemed to be" out of control, SO, he/she felt like, he/she HAD to be the one to bring order to the chaos - by gaining control of it, himself/herself!? Just because a person has good intentions, doesn't necessarily mean that, what they are DOING (manipulating) is RIGHT, and, vice verse! 😉👍🏼 💙📖 John 8:36 says, "IF the SON therefore shall make you FREE, ye shall be FREE indeed." 😃 Let's LET the SON (CHRIST Jesus) make us free indeed (for HIS honor and glory)!  If, you are a Believer, then, positionally, HE already has!  However, practically speaking, it takes us - LETTING HIM - to be MADE FREE (literally)!!! 🙌🏼✝️🙏🏼📖🕊🦋 You know what happens whenever you are wearing an old pair of slacks, which, are too small, threadbare, etc., and, you bend, too far, too fast...they rip...burst apart!!  Well, eventually, this same type of situation often occurs, whenever, a person has been manipulated, controlled, bullied, for too long...he/she SNAPS (the symptoms of this can be seen in all kinds of behavior - varies from person to person)!  We don't want this to happen to us, or anyone whom we love, SO, LET'S choose to LET The Lord, heal us (in Jesus' name) concerning ALL of our bad issues (whether we are the controlled, controller, or the one dealing with some other type of bad issue)! 🙏🏼✝️📖🕊 💃🏻 "To be YOURSELF in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else, is the greatest accomplishment!" - youmeandcharlie.com (T-U!) 💖 "Don't LET other people decide who you are!"(dailydoseofcharm.com) (T-U)! 💖 ...📖🕊🙏🏼✝️🙌🏼💜...👋🏼...until next post...
