'Kimmie Sue's "LIFE LESSONS"'

💑💖💑 Directly in front of the table/desk, where I, sit and work, etc., a lot, in my eye's view, on the gas log mantel, are two framed photos, one, of my, fraternal, and, another, of my, maternal...grandparents, with whom, I was very close, and, spent a lot of time. 💖 All four of these dear souls, are in Heaven now (based on their profession of faith in Christ Jesus), and if, I allow myself (which I only do every now and then), I can become extremely sorrowful that, they are no longer here, with me, on 🌏 earth. 😪 I'm sure that, you have people, who have passed, about whom you feel the same, and, probably handle missing them, the same as, or similarly, as I?! 💖 I also, have photos of other loved ones throughout my home, which, I typically don't dwell upon, my love of, shared memories, etc., as I daily function around my home, because, if, I did, I'd be a "MESS"...in a constant state of despair! 😔 I usually choose - to keep the "door closed" on m...

💚🦃🎄🎅🏾🤶🏼 The HOLIDAYS are upon us! 😳🎁🎈🎉...And, the reality that they are, means a bunch of different things to each individual person - all around the world! 👵🏾👨🏻‍🍳🤦🏼‍♀️🙋🏽‍♂️💃 The holidays trigger emotions in people, causing some to choose - happiness and joy, and others - to be sad, and - emotional, thoughts and feelings of ALL sorts, are prevalent - and, stirring within most human beings. 🎊 Personally, I deal with a variety of emotions, thoughts, feelings, etc. throughout this season, annually (they vary from year to year). 👩🏻 Many memories of past holidays often flow through my mind, which also bring - emotional responses - inside my being. 😢🤣😕😃 Some people - THRIVE - while enjoying - the shopping, cooking, and the such, while others, become -OVERWHELMED, and, STRESSED OUT, from the "pressures," that accompany this time. 😆 For me, being a Believer of Christ Jesus, the holidays, are a celebration of Jesus' incarnation (2 Corinthians 5:19), an...

💙🏡 'HABITAT for HUMANITY'S' monthly magazine arrived in the mail yesterday.  So, this morning I'm looking through it. What an awesome ministry it is! 🙏🏼 And, viewing this magazine has triggered a memory for me, of a season in my life, whenever, I, and my little family unit, was "kind of"...homeless! 😏 David had resigned from pastoring his first church - as a full time pastor, after serving there for five years.  Prior to serving at that church, during our first seven years of marriage, God had, lead and placed, us to serve, during different time periods - at four different churches - in various capacities. We were stepping out into full time evangelism, which, we should have done approximately seven years prior!  We surrendered to the ministry the best way that we knew how, at first, however, we didn't surrender immediately to full time evangelism (upon first understanding that God had called him to preach).  Then, whenever, David realized that, God h...

💖📖 Each one of our lives is like a chapter in a novel, that's being written by the same, extremely intelligent author...GOD! (Isaiah 40:22, Isaiah 40:28, Psalms 83:18) 🙌🏼 This is one reason why it is ludicrous for us to think that, we are hiding anything (like a habitual sin, etc.) from HIM! 😗 A really IRONIC, interesting, comforting, etc., aspect of this thought, is that, God, in HIS foreknowledge, omniscience, ETC., took into account, each individual, who would ever be conceived, and, his/her - personality, choices, sins, likes, dislikes, etc.,...EVERYTHING, whenever HE "wrote," his/her, chapter, within this magnificent "novel" of HIS! 🤦🏻‍♀️😢 "I was once a people person...until people ruined it for me!" - 'Pinterest' (thank you)! 🤣 You can literally kill yourself - attempting to please other people! 😩 And, please, believe me, whenever I write that, I know ALL about this!! 😔 In this "STRANGE" season of my life, in which I presently find myself, I am very determined to ONLY do the things in which I KNOW - PLEASE GOD (the things that I know HE expects of me), according to HIS perfect will for my life, period! 🙏🏼 Anymore, unless, I absolutely KNOW that, GOD expects me to do a certain thing, I'm most likely NOT going to do it, no matter WHO thinks, expects, insinuates, says that I should, or, "whatevuh! 😙 Some people do not understand why I am at this point - BECAUSE - they have not "walked a mile in my shoes!!" 👣👠👠😘😏 I can honestly write that, I have no desire to, manipulate and/or control, other people!  I DO wish that, I were better at controlling myself!! 🤣...

🦋 Have you ever prayed yourself "silly?"🙏🏼 😌😜 What I mean, is that, sometimes, I find myself going from, praying TO God, into, explaining to GOD the specifics of, any given prayer situation and/or request, forgetting that, because HE IS GOD, after all, HE does NOT need anything explained to HIM! 😗 I think that, maybe, I do it more for my sake, than, for HIS?! 😏 What I really need to do whenever I pray, is to talk, honestly and openly, to God, in Jesus' name, ask HIM for the things in which I desire, let HIM know that I trust HIM, and expect an answer (whatever HE knows is the absolute best one) (Matthew 7:7-12, 1 John 5:14+15), and then, LISTEN and watch, for that answer.  📖🙏🏼🕊✝️🙌🏼💜 Finally, upon realizing that, GOD has given HIS (perfect) answer, I need to thank HIM for it, and, trust that, HE absolutely knows what HE is doing!! 😉  Anymore, after I've prayed various things (praises, worship, Scripture, intercessions, petitions, etc), concerning the pra...
